GasID Notation

GasIDs are codified in a similar manner to MassIDs. The notation includes the “type” of pollution that was avoided, in this case CO2e, and the reference location inherited from its parent TRC. GasIDs contain a unique identifier and a split ID code, if the original GasID suffered a split. (For more on splits see MassID Splits.)
