MassIDs: Codifying Waste

A MassID is a unique digital asset on the blockchain, created when any amount of post-consumer or post-industrial waste is identified and measured in the market, and custody is established. MassIDs represent publicly verifiable, responsibility and ownership over a unit of codified waste mass with an immutable record of recycling operations (executed services orders) logged in it, and where the waste source location can be established. A history of all individuals and organizations, identified by their unique wallet-ids, is recorded in each MassID as it travels along logistical routes toward a recycling facility. The list of wallet-ids for the recycling chain-of-custody is understood as a set of wallet-ids for each of the five role categories in the recycling supply chain based on the activity performed in each service order.
